SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday at 10:00. There are four adult Sunday School classes
and six age-appropriate classes for children and youth. Children’s
curriculum is “Rock Solid” and is lectionary based. Adult
curriculum varies.
CHURCH NURSERY
Nursery care is provided for infant children through
four years of age. The nursery is staffed with two
professional, nurturing care givers, and is equipped
with a monitor paging system for parents’ “peace
of mind.” Our nursery is open from 8:30 to 12:00
every Sunday and for special services and studies
throughout the year. The nursery is in the Education Wing.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH
Children’s Church is provided every Sunday for children ages
4 through 3rd Grade. It is designed to provide
an age appropriate worship experience for our younger
children that may find it difficult to remain in regular
worship a full hour. In children’s church, children experience
several elements of worship, including music, prayer, lessons
and various activities. Children exit for children’s church
from the sanctuary after children’s moments during both
worship services at 8:30 and 11:00.
CHILRENS’ CHOIR (RINGERS AND SINGERS)
All children age 5 through 5th grade are encouraged to join our Children’s Choir.
Children alternate ringing hand bells and singing for worship services throughout the year.
The children practice on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the choir room. Contact Susan Stroud at susanstroud@lycos.com or Connie McGlaughon at mcglaughon@aol.com.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School is a summer program designed for
children who have completed 4 Yr. Preschool through
5th Grade. Children learn wonderful Bible Stories through
music, story telling, crafts, games and special snacks.
Children experience fun and creative ways to praise and
worship God each day. VBS meets M-F from 9:30 to
12:00 for a designated week in July. Adult volunteers are
always needed! Pre-registration is required.
See church newsletter for specific dates and theme.

EASTER EGG HUNT AND CELEBRATION

Palm Sunday. Games, crafts, and activities are set up in classrooms
in the Education Building before the big Egg Hunt. Children are
divided in to three age appropriate groups to find over 3,000 eggs!
A silent auction and raffle for children’s items is set up for parents in the Fellowship Hall, with proceeds going to our church preschool. A luncheon is also
provided for a small fee for children and their parents.
FALL FAMILY CHURCH-WIDE PICNIC
This family event takes place on a Sunday afternoon in early
fall. Activities include sack races, pumpkin toss, marshmallow
putting, face painting and more. Lots of delicious covered
dishes and special Christian music are also a part of the
festivities.
FAMILY CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL
Our family Christmas Festival takes place in the fellowship hall
in early December. The highlight of the event is a Christmas drama/
musical presented by our children. Afterward, a family-style covered dish dinner is shared by all. Santa also stops by for a visit to give each child a special nativity ornament.
